Adding a nose cone to an Alpha?

Does anyone have any experience with adding a nose cone.
I've heard some people say that it helped performance and others say that you only benefit at speeds greater that 70 mph.
Please let me know what you think.

Thinking about adding one of these.

The nose cone I installed was for speeds over fifty MPH.
I remember getting two MPH after installation.

That is what I hear also. Julie from Throttle Up Props accually says it can hurt performance under 70.

well I have had verry happy customers with the cones that we have INSTALLED.If the cone in not set wright then yes it will hurt the performance. When done right the up side is much bigger not only with the 2 mile an gains you have spoke of. 1st is picking the right cone. when setting the cones you have to make sure that the hieght is right along with the side to side is right,Not only have we seen better top end we also have seen lees cav burning on pros better low end performance even better fuel economy. It has to be set right that is the biggest deal. Not everybody is a pro at thses thing it is somthing that we have found to be a science we have done over a 100 of them on I/Os and o/b
