flywheel for my 1988 30hp evinrude?

First i'd like to say awesome site the forums have helped me out many times.

My question is will a 1980 35hp johnson flywheel work on my 1988 30hp evinrude? I want to install a electric starter on it but my 30hp dont have teeth on the flywheel.
