Hi All
Please could someone provide me with some advice. A relative (not me!!!!) removed our pontoon from the water without switching off the engine! This he left running for approximately 5 min ,before he realised his error and killed the engine. (no warning alarm sounded). What would be prudent for me to do before restarting the engine (other than putting it back in the water first!).
Thanks

your first thing would be to change the impellor as after five mins of no water it will be perished beyond belief

Ayuh,......

You'll probably need a Complete Waterpump Kit.....
I'd Bet there's more damage than Just the Impeller.....

Sounds like my brother-in-law. That's why he doesn't have keys to any of my stuff.
