Hello

Hello everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the boating scene down here in FL. I just recently moved from New Hampshire. I found the website looking for info on the volvo/penta 5.8. If you have a chance, take a look at my question in the motor section. I am a huge fan of forums for my other hobbies and it looks like I can expect to be impressed with this forum as well!

You'll enjoy your time here. I have been able to offer usefull information to others but I think I've learned a lot more than I've taught so, I agree that forums are a great place to gain information about a hobby.

Not only do I learn a lot, It is an enjoyable way to learn. I am always one to post how to threads with pictures whenever I try something new. I hope to eventually contribute to the forum as well. Thanks for the welcome!

Yea, Bob, it is coming your way ... we got about 8 inches of the fluffy white stuff yesterday and today we have the sleet and freezing rain on top of it. NASTY stuff out there today ... was fun yesterday, though.

BTW, Welcome to the forum ... lots of good info on this place and a fun place to hang out as well ... specially on an icy day!

Welcome aboard, and yep, it has snowed/rained/sleet/snowed and more snow here as well. Only 8 more weeks for the docks to open (if the water isn't solid)
