Default 1972 18HP Evinrude Steering Bracket Info UPDATE !!!!!
I have found the correct model number for the motor. The last owner only changed the transom mount! So it is a 1972 18 HP. Found the steering bracket and a carb kit about 2 hours from here so now to put it back together!!!
