Does anyone have any photos showing the mounting points and look of a bimini top on this size boat? I want to install one but would like to get an idea of where it fits best. Thanks

Mine is a 17 footer. . . When you put a bimini on your boat you have to be able to cover yourself at the controls, and at the same time, when it folds down, that it doesn't lay across the back seats or they won't be of any use. Set it up first, then move it back and forth for the best positioning :rolleyes: It was the best thing I ever did for the boat!!

huntley.d, thanks. Where did you get your top at? Did you install it yourself? Would you do anything different about it now that it is up? I was thinking about putting one on myself but just not sure. Any pics?

you can use a sliding track mount, so it will get out of the way. also tilt some my adjusting the straps, and sliding track mount.

sorry to revive such an old thread, but here's a pic of mine on my 2000 SX 195. Works great and super easy to install.

I'm glad you did. I just got my '05 SX 195 and the bimini looked a little odd. It seems like the front straps are too short and it pulls the front down too far. After looking at yours, I think they are too short. Maybe I just need to play with it more. It's too hot in the garage though. :)
