Water Pump kit help? Johnson 48hp

i have a Johnson 48 hp 1990 model engine J48ESLESA 1990. I need to replace water pump on it and after looking through the Iboat marine store there are 2 choices a Sierra Pump Kit w/o Hsg and a Mallory Pump Kit w/o Hsg brand. Price is less than $1 difference. Which is the better brand?????? Should i try to find one of the Kits thats a Chrome Pump kit ??????

Also this motor has been virtually trouble free and aside from a gear case seal kit being replaced Is there anything else i should buy for my engine???

That motor should have the plastic pump housing with stainless liners. There is normally no need to change the housing. The liners should be OK too, unless you are using it for a sand dredge.
