tilt/trim motor replacement

I posted a thread a couple of weeks ago about my trim not working. I tried everything recommended ( thanks Frank! ) and nothing worked so I took apart the reservoir and found someone had jerry rigged the wires to the motor inside the reservoir b/c one of the clips that makes one of the two square magnets "springy" had broken off and they were soaked in oil, exposed, and I've decided to replace the motor. My question is, is there any way to buy just the trim motor w/o having to buy a whole new pump and reservoir?, and does anyone have any tips on where to find one? My engine is an outboard '94 Force 50. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: tilt/trim motor replacement

I have had good luck with taking motors to starter rebuild shops and having them rebuilt. They usually have machinery and expertise and will do it cheaper than buying a new motor.
