craigs list. ebay, with a reserve. right here http://www.iboats.com/sell-a-boat/. title in lieu of seizure is better on credit if finance company will accept it.
we all need to support iboats marine store when ever possible. you get, competitive prices. fast shipping, top notch customer service. also it provides us, this great FREE forum.
This is a bad time to try and sell a boat. Loans of this type are going to be hard to get for lots of people.
Your going to take a real big hit. Get an ad out on as many places as can. Craigslist, newpapers, etc. Don't wait much longer to start trying to sell it.
Around here there are lots of boats for sale already this year.
Try Craigs list first. I find it very successful and its free. I suggest you not leave it posted for more than a couple weeks. If it doesn't sell right away people get the idea there is something wrong with it or it's over priced. Take lots of pictures and provide details about how you used it, how often, where, etc. Above all, make sure it's cleaned up. Nobody will look at a junky looking boat if they want something relatively new.

Craiglist works.
The question is are you "upside down" on the boat?
How much do you owe? What's the boat worth (approx) private party?
Worst case - and probably a bad idea, you could "wrap" it and have someone making payments on it through you.. Slightly better than having it repossessed, but it's risky.
if you list it on ebay or craiglist or anywhere online, look out for scammers.
You will get lots of emails from people that can't speak american in type offering to buy it sight unseen.
They will try and get lots of personal data info from you.
Then maybe send you a money order-check-cashiers check, etc.
Whatever they send will be more than your asking for.
They will tell you to deposit it into your account and wire the difference to them.
Then you will never hear from them again. And a couple of weeks later your bank will deduct what you wired as well as the deposit from your account.

I had this happen to me with a boat trailer... fortunately I was forewarned. I went along with it and asked them to send an official check... just in case, I thought I'd see what happened. They sent a check for about 10x the amount I'd asked for.. the check looked like it was printed on a home inkjet printer, and had the words "official check" printed at the top :-)
I ignored it, never heard from them again.

You certainly can list the boat here on iBoats, just not on the forum. Click the "Classifieds" button at the top of the page. It's not free, but it will get exposure.
