have the same problem i hear lots of people have had.My throtle and shift cable s have bit the dust and i was wondering if i can use the throtle cable to run my motor and put a manual shifter on the motor and if i do am i going to have problems with anything?? The throtle looks like it should work fine but it just won't shift am i asking for trouble or am i thinking the right thing by leaving the shifter un hooked and doing it by hand?
