I am in the process of purchasing a Monterey 290 that I will be keeping in the water in Charleston, SC. I understand all of the precautions that I must take regarding the zinks and having routine checks and cleanings by a diver. I was on a boat a couple years ago that had I/Os and the guy kept it in salt water. I remember that he had a fresh water flush attachment that he hooked up when he returned to his slip to flush the cooling systems on the engines. He basically just hooked up the fresh water hose at his slip and turned it on for a few minutes and that was it. Is anyone familiar with this and/or know where I can purchase one.
