I have a 1999 Mercury 175 EFI 2 stroke that stalls when put in gear when "cold". It generally does it 4 to 5 when first getting out and more when in cold weather. Took it out in November in 40 degree weather, stalled 10 times before finally took off (Even after letting it idle for 10 minutes). After the engine has been running for a while, it's fine.
I put new plugs (They were two year old plugs) in it after winterizing it and hoping that takes care of it, any other ideas or something else I should do before spring?
