Default conversion of evinrude 18 to electric

I have a 1964 evinrude manual start. Is it possible to convert this to electric start?

welcome to iboats. not many if any 18's build with elect start. if you can find the parts yes, probably cost more than the value of the motor.

Unless you get lucky at a local marina, your best bets are to search out a junker/clunker with the parts you need. If you find one on eBay, expect to pay a premium.
The flywheels are common - most came with the cogged rim. The starter motors are common - same as used on some Big Twin models. The kicker is the mounting bracket - unique to the 20/22 cube models. The wiring stuff can be fabbed if needed...

The Big Twins were the old style Johnrude 25, 28, 30, 33, 35, and 40 horse models built from the early 1950s to the early 1980s. They were anywhere from 35.6 cubes to about 44 cubes depending on vintage and horsepower...
