Just had the bottom of the boat soda blasted to remove 10 coats of bp. If I am not going to keep the boat in the water, do I need a barrier coat, before using a high build epoxy primer? and then paint with Awl Grip.
No. But I would definately check with the manufacturer as to what they might recommend. One product just might require a bonding type layer, other's might not. Delightfully vague - eh? :redface:
TK - You should use the primer recommended for Awlgrip. It might be the Hi-build epoxy product, however, it could also be a different product, or none required.
