I have two sealed gallons of leftover BRP Ficht Ram oil, and I need to know if it is OK to use in a Johnson 115 in the oil reservoir. A friend told me the Ficht oil is too concentrated and can cause a rough idle and gum up the carbs. Any truth to this?

Re: Oil Recommendation

Ficht Ram Oil, now known as XD-50, is widely reported to be a high quality synthetic blend.

And at the end of the day, with the carbon X already in the XD-50, it probably saves you money, High Trim. Good choice.
