thinking of purchasing a bluewave 190 delulxe first time boat buyer ? also dealer has 90 suzuki 4 stroke on it, should i go to a 115hp,or change all together with yamaha outboard. is blue wave a good boat? Fish the bay alot.

good people here that really know their stuff.
im not sure about that make of boat....try the manufactures look up at the bottom of the main page.

also about motors hit search and you will find most everything that you want.

as far as motor size....go with the most power the hull can take....or in two years youll be buying another motor...:eek:

Bluewater damn fine boats...go with 115..either motor..you will never regret the extra 25hp..like night and day..

Edit..Whoops, thought you meant Bluewater..never heard of Bluewave..

Blue Wave is a completely different company from Bluewater.

The Blue Wave is very popular in Texas, which should be reassuring. For shopping comparisons try Blazer Bay, Sea Boss, and Sea Chaser. A bay boat by Century, Cobia, K2, Key West, Pioneer, Sea Hunt, or Sailfish would be a little nicer. But they also cost more $$. Here is another thread with a Blue Wave owner -
