Is there any way to get back some of that"bright/new" look on aluminum trailers and galvanized wheels?Has anybody discovered a chemical that works well on these?

Mother's Cleaner and Wax. Available at any auto supply store. Just get the kit that fits onto your drill and also comes with a squeeze bottle of aluminum cleaner...Works great.

Wink Re: aluminum trailer cleaning

Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound took of 25 years of dirt and grime off of my
aluminum trailer. Shined like new.

Nothing would bring back the complete shine to the "baby moon" hubcaps,
but they were still something to appreciate.
