150 Mercury year

I recently purchased a 21' Manatee with a 150 V6 Mercury (split cowl). The serial number is A8062712. I think it was made in Australia. Any idea on what year it is?

That does not appear to be a good serial no. Look for a plate on the transom mount. If it is missing look for a round plug on top of the motor.
