I own a good running 1971 trihull with a Mercury 120, I've had it for a few years, and need to find out what drive this is. I need to order some spare parts, boots and seals, and have no idea what model outdrive and lower unit this is?
I know its pre Alpha, but how to I tell which one?
It's old enough to still have the hook hole on top, but not old enough to have the lever on the side like my 110.
What do I need to know to order output seals and what is entailed in replacing them. I will be doing all the work here and the boat came with a manual but it don't tell how to ID the various drives.

to do any work on yer drive ya will need an mercrusier service manual. it will have the facts in it......
