evin 150 carb question.

hi i have a 1983 evinrude 150 crossflow
im doing some maint on my motor .head gaskets exhaust gaskets coils
and primer selinoid rebuild . went through carbs 6 months ago.
was running good . would like to clean carbs while i have motor down
should i change gaskets and spray out jets . or should i soak again and
use full kits it has new floats and internal parts now 6 months old

why would you want to rebuild the carbs if its running good? and you rebuild them 6 months ago?

I wouldnt waste your money on new kits, not that its overly costly, unless you want to keep yourself busy over the winter ;) Although with todays fuel, cleaning your carb will need to become more frequent than every 3 years.

have slight idle prob . and bottom of bowl is slightly varnished.
plus im already doing some other stuff .and i have silencerplate off .
gaskets are 9 bucks for all three .
