Cooling question

First time running motor out of the water. Replaced impeller and wanted to check out that everything was fine. Ran engine in a tub. Good flow out of tell tale but there was also water coming out of another hole. Because this hole would normally be under water I assume it's okay but would like some assurance. I never heard of water coming out of anywhere but the tell tale but I'm sure the water has to exit system somewhere. See attached photo.

Thanks for the help again,
Tom

Re: Cooling question

As I recall, years ago they learned that if they fill up that "megaphone" (the mid section) with water, it will help to make the engine quieter and it costs literally nothing to do it. That's just a drain hole.
