Hi,
My 1970 Mercury 9.8 HP 110 outboard has a major fuel leak on the carb.
When I pump the gas tank, the hole above the float housing on the carb shoots gas.
This hole must be there for some reason, but I can't imagine that much gas coming out is a good thing. The hole is right above the float assembly on the carb itself.
Anyone know why the fuel is leaking (so much)?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks...
