Mounting hole threads in lower engine cover for the front port support bolt has striped out and needs repaired. Need advise on best way to repair this.The other three look fine and I don't see any other loose bolts. Is this common or should I be looking for something else that would have caused this. Thanks

Have no idea what motor we are talking about here, but a generic answer would be that almost any striped thread holes can be repaired with a heli-coil. The outboard mechanics best friend....well one of them anyway.
