Cabelas sells a 3M Scotchkote Hot Melt Patch Compound for sealing aluminum boat leaks. It is a heat activated epoxy designed to wick into seams. I am interested in anyone who may have used this product, how well it worked or anyone who may have some information on how well this product works.
depends on how big the leak is. GLUVIT, is the aluminum boats best friend, if you can get to the inside. it is a 2 parts epoxy, that flexes with the boat, and wicks into the seams.
