My 2001 Evinrude (Suzuki) 70 HP four stroke sounds an alarm code whenever the outside air temperature reaches or goes below freezing. Engine has been incredibly reliable, but has done this since new. The check engine light comes on. The light blinks one long and three short. I usually ignore it, but it seems worse this year than past years. Can someone please tell me what the code means and what I should do about this? Thanks in advance for your help.
