Evinrude Johnson lower unit interchangeable

I have a QD 20 10 Hp Johnson lower unit that is shot. My question is can I replace it with a 1958 thru 60 Evinrude lower unit? How much can I expect to pay for this item? Any info most appreciated.

i think there was a change in 60. $100-300 ebay.

There was a change in 1958 so you can expect a 1958-63 to fit.
