Parts for old Merc 650

I have found parts listed as available for my 67 merc 650 at Doug Russell and a place called BAM. The former lists as available almost every part for this old engine, including exhaust baffle and cover plates is that real or just wishfull thinking?

Both list piston rings in a way that makes it look like they are $75 a piece? Certainly that price must be for a set of 12 rings and not per piece?
Please tell me it ain't so.

Yachtzee, See if Sierra lists rings for that motor. If it is like the 70's inlines, you will have a choice of ring types and sources.

On my '77 Merc 1500, the original pistons were three plane ring style. The newer ones were two keystone rings. You may have to open the transfer ports and look to see what kinds of rings it takes.

It Comes As A 12 Piece Ring Set. Lists For Around $62.
