I own a 1996 115hp Intruder. It slowly became harder to start until it finally quit altogether. It apparantly lost all spark. I brought it in to a local outboard shop where they replaced the power pack and claimed they had spark untill they hooked up the wiring harness, all spark was gone again, they're at a loss as to what they should check next. Anyone have any ideas?

At the risk of overstating the obvoius, does it have a kill switch? Is it open?

Next I would make sure all grounds are clean, & lubed some.
