Dies at an idle

I have a 1995 Mercury 125 with the inline four two-stroke and oil injection. I recently replaced the trim solenoids and soon thereafter got into an accident. The boat trailer slid off into a ditch along with my truck. Afterwards the boat won't stay running at an idle. It doesn't appear as though there are any fuel leaks and it was running fine before hand. Any ideas on what to check first. I was thinking maybe the switch box is bad or that it may be sucking air in through the fuel line fitting.

Just a guess. It sounds like it is starving for fuel. So start with the simple stuff...run it on a different tank with a new hose and primer bulb just to eliminate that the tank and hose are not your problem. Then go to the fuel lines on the inside of the engine cover and ensure they are not loose or cracked...if so replace them. If that don't fix it, you most likely have a carb or injector problem and cleaning or rebuilding it should take care of your problem. If you remove the carb you will need to complete a good tune up once you reinstall it and check your timing. Before I would do a carb rebuild I would try the cure all Sea Foam. It cleans injectors also. The water and fuel filter could have been shook up during the mishap and you could have all kinds of junk in your fuel line or motor. I would also check to make sure there was no damage to your gas tank straps. The experts can help from here.
