My son just got his first wakeboard for Christmas and I was wondering if anyone could point me to a quality ski pylon for a 91 Searay outboard. Also wondering if a pylon would work as good as a tower.......thanks!

The pylon will do the job but they tend to takeup a lot of floor space and require that your boat have places to drill through the deck


The front post NEEDS to be bolted through to keep it from pulling UP


The two rear posts can be screwed in as they get pushed DOWN

They also make ones like this


With straps and cables so it can be removed

If you Google flyhigh you will get lots of stuff to look at

Does anybody have any experience with the Insanity iPylon? Like mrmelrod, I'm looking for a ski pylon for an 88 Searay outboard. I'd ski, wakeboard, and kneeboard from it, and the iPylon looks perfect.
