Hey can anyone help me locate the idle adjustment screws on a
2000 Johnson 70hp 2-stroke?
Is it hard to find and get to?
Better yet, does anyone have a picture or diagram?

Thanks!

It would help if you told us whether it's the idle mixture or idle speed screws you are looking for and why you are looking for them. I must assume you are looking for the idle speed screw (note the singular) and not the idle mixture screws (note the plural) because I believe the idle mixture uses fixed jets on that engine. Before you mess with idle speed, disconnect the throttle cable. Set the idle speed and then adjust the throttle cable. Do it backwards and you will end up chasing other problems. The idle stop screw is located on the timing advance arm at the left side of the engine (facing it from the front). Remember, when it comes to this stuff, a service manual specific to your engine is your friend. And just so you know, once you start messing with anything throttle related you run the risk of having to perform what's called a "link&sync". That process is several pages long in most service manuals so nobody will type that info for you.

That clarifies alot and I might just sit tight.
I have another post from yesterday titled,
"Easy Problem...."
Ha!
Basically the boat was running fine and I installed a water separating filter
between the inboard fuel tank and engine.
Now it has trouble idling.

Thanks for the info.
