Hello, Today I found a 20p ssteel prop for sale. The add reads 20p ssteel for a omc ob 85 hp . the guy sellin it says there are no numbers on it other than the number 20, My question is did omc make a 20p for the smaller gear cases in sst and could this prop be a raker or something else. I will be goin to look at it tommorrow .thks

Rakers are indeed even numbered pitch, could be. And yes they(OMC) did make rakers for the small gear case.

Thks 72SW, I guess my next question is, If theres no part number, Is there anyway of knowing if its a raker, ie; specific markins or distinguishin design to look for? Or does the number 20 on it make it a raker? thks again......

On the Older Rakers they have the word "RAKER" stamped with 1/4" letters on the barrell of the prop and a cast number on the hub where the prop nut goes.

The new style Rakers have the word "RAKER" cast in the barrell and are larger.
The part number is still cast on the hub in the same place.

If you would post a pic and someone might be able to identify it for you.
