Evinrude 35 hp Electric start

Hi guys, on a Evinrude 35 hp Electric start, Motor was with steering system and remote control, I did convert to a tiller outboard but I’m trying to install a omc Push to choke key switch on lower pan, Do you guys know witch wire( color) on the harness( above picture) is to trigger the solenoid? Witch cable is to shut the motor off and electric choke? I will really appreciated any help that I can get

You don't say what year, but probably red/yellow is start, purple/white is choke, and black/yellow is stop.

That's a 1978. The colors I gave came from a 1979 diagram, might be similar.

Hi, here are the colors that I have on the harness all solid colors: Red, Yellow, Purple, Black, and Black,

To trigger the solenoid or choke would be the violet with white stripe as FR said, maybe yours has been rewired?? Trace the purple wire back, does it go to engine primer solenoid coil? If so that is it. As far as the kill, it should be black yellow as stated. Trace both black wires back. 1 will go to the engine chassis or battery negative. The other should go to engine ignition kill circuit. That will be the one that you want.
