can someone tell me if a lower unit off of a 1987 johnson 40hp, model J40TELCUD, will fit on my 1983 Johnson 50hp, model J50BELCTA? Also, what is the possibility of my powerhead (the 1983 50hp) bolting on to the 1987 40hp motor?
