I'm needing to find out the year my Mariner 30 hp motor was made. The serial # is S 102248. Does someone have a book that references serial #s with the year the motor was built? If so, I would very much appreciate your help.

It should have the model prefex ahead of the serial number 689 if so it was built in 1982

Thank you. I'll check to see if it has 689. I sure didn't notice it before, but will check it out.
