removal of rear seat back

I have a 1983 18Ft, skipper, that I want to add a kicker motor mount, however I have not been able to find out how to remove the rear seat back, in order to get at the transom. Is there anybody out there that can help me. I contacted Smoker Craft, but to no avail? Thanks for any help that can be provided! Imported_fixit
