Question F200 Yamaha injector filter removal

I have a 2002 F200L, I removed the injectors after reading posts of fuel delivery problems. Very helpful. I replaced filters, cleaned the VST, fuel rails and injectors with carb cleaner. It sounds like a sewing machine! (great!)
Upon inspection of the injectors I noted that one was missing a filter, I will need to purchase and replace, not a problem. How do you remove said filter from other injectors without damage to either item? And do they snap in or is there a trick? Thanks Dan

the filters are not avalible from yamaha.
you really need to get one in there before it clogs the orifice's.
most any injector shop in your area should have them.

LF200TXRA, The local guy suggested I run without the injector filter. He asked what I was worried about. I didn't think to say "his bill". The flagship folks can rehab and add the filter to the injectors if I send them in.

A new injector assy is $139. Flagship charges $50 retail to clean and test. They are Yamaha approved. You might want to have the other 2 injectors cleaned at the same time.
