evin 150 1981 cross flow fuel primer issue

ran my boat to day had cowl off pumped primer ball up real tite to check for fuel leaks , got small leak from choke primer at handle on selinoid
let but it stopped put cowl on went on with test run .ran great
but at hi rpm 4500 it died out a couple of time gas line is old but has no leaks and bulb is still good would that primer seal at the shaft allow air in my
system, because i think the fuel hose is good i had just run it on a 50hp i have

Are you running a 150 on a portable tank (from the 50hp)?

d hadley im running a aluminum 24gal tank on mi 150 its external
no antisiphon valve i just yoused the line on my 50 to a plstic tank
ill probaly make me a new line larger than the off the shelf mod
but the boat has run fine with this line before so i thought this primer leak
may have been prob it stopped leaking gas but i thought that at higher rpm it might be leaking air into system

Make sure the line is 3/8" ID. A 5/16" ID line may cause some problems. Yes, the leaking primer is an issue that needs to be addressed before running it again.
