Default Options for painting inside of aluminum boat?

I have a 1976 Klamath 14ft Aluminum boat that I have questions regarding what I should do with the inside of it. It currently has three bench seats and the inside is painted camo. I'm in the process of sanding the outside to paint it a different color other than camo and didn't know what to use for the inside. I have used Rhino Liner in the past and I didn't get the results I wanted. Does anyone have recommendations?

i have used the 99cent paint at walmart, home depot use to carry it. there are basic colors, but the gray has held up really well, and if it gets bruised it's an easy touch up. used on 4 boats so far.

Picked up some flat aluminum color spray paint. Hope it will look good. Here in Portland Oregon they lock up the spray paint so the tagers have a hard time getting to it. Very interesting.

I love working with 2 part epoxy primer. It cures rock hard and tough, typically a light grey color but can be tinted.

your in Portland? and your working on repainting a 14 foot Klamath? a 76 model?

I'm in portland, have a 1970 12 foot klamath, and am working on doing the same thing to it, same boat, except yours is a couple of feet longer

Well technically I live in Vancouver and I'm working on my 76 Klamath I just bought. It has a 9.9 Evinrude like yours but mines a 1974 model. Ez load Galvanized trailer too. Good luck with your resto

have you had yours out in the water yet? my 12 footer goes pretty good with a 9.9

I'm hoping to have the paint stripped out of mine this weekend. keep us posted on your pragress, and if you need any help or anything with yours, I'm right across the river, give me a holler.

Stuart
