Deputies led on chase in Wayne

A Wayne County man early Thursday led Wayne County sheriff's deputies on a short pursuit in Rose, Wayne County.

Deputies charged Adam L. O'Connor, 26, of North Rose with driving while intoxicated, third-degree unlawful feeling a police officer and reckless driving.

He allegedly led deputies on a brief chase that started on Route 414 and ended when O'Connor pulled off the road on Gray Street in North Rose just before 1 a.m., deputies said.

O'Connor was arraigned in Rose Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond, deputies said.

He is expected to return to Rose Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

Re: Misprint

Did you say it was a brief chase, or he was chasing briefs?
