Not to be over crud . . . . But I have a Merc500. The water comes out of it like a Sunday Am **** after a Saturday night on the town. I also have a 5hp Mariner. The water flows. At idle it?s a strong trickle. Opened up it?s more like midday on a Wednesday. Flowing ok, but it ain?t going to kill any flies. Is this normal for the 5hp Mariner or does it need to see a doctor to have it impeller and/or water pump changed?
