What year is a 45HP Mariner with 4 pistons???

I have a 45HP Mariner, 4 piston engine, serial# A917184

Can anyone tell me what year it is OR a website that will??

I need a control box & steering cables for it.

That's a 1985 model. Might try ebay for controls...

I had been told before it was a 1989-90 model, just not sure & can't find anything on Mercury's site. The control box & cables were stolen & I need another set.
