i am getting ready for my first time preparing my boat for winter. It will be in my shop for the winter and i have read the instructions on mercstuff.com. I do have a couple of questions...

1. Is there a picture of where the drain plugs are? I am not finding one anywhere.

2. I am in GA and like I said the boat will be in one of the bays of my shop. Do i need to use Antifreeze (Red Pop)

3. I was planning on blocking the trailer up for winter to keep the tires from flat spotting and rebuild the hubs etc then. Is any place on the trailer frame good for blocking up the trailer?

4. Will most interior shops work on seat covers for boats?

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!

Re: Drain plugs

1),..... Not that I know of,.....
But,......
There's 1 Drianplug down Low on the Portside, just above the Oil Pan on the Block,....
And another 1 Above the 1st 1, on the Bottom of the Manifold, near the Aft end........
And,..... You should pull the end of the Big Hose from the engines circulating Pump.......

2),.... Nope,........... Air doesn't Freeze,.... If everything is Drained,....... No Problem.......

3),.... At the Rear Corners,+ somewhere along the neape are Good places.......

4),.... I don't know about Interior Shops,....
But,.... Most Upholstery Shops will do work for Boats.........

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!
Ayuh,........ Welcome Aboard..................
