Default HELP changing plugs Yamaha 40 4 stroke

I can get top two plugs out but having trouble with the bottom plug. There is not enough room to move the ratchet handle. Am I missing something to do or remove. This engine is not user friendly,

It's me again, looks like a few have looked at my post but no response. I read in another post that the Yammie dealers have a special wrench and it's only for dealers. I can't really believe that Yammie would make something that would eliminate an owner from taking something as simple as spark plugs out. One dealer told me that an 18mm deep socket is all I would need. I can get the top two plugs out but the bottom one it seems that there is not enough room to move the ratchet handle. Am I the only one having this problem?

Try a swivel adapter on the end of an extension on your ratchet. I can usually get to all sorts of seemingly inaccessible hardware that way. Sometimes a 1/4" drive helps by giving a little more clearance to work with.

You could also get a plug socket that you put a screw driver in the end and turn I have a couple they work great or get a socket and on the end it has a wrench head
