Start with the basics;
Is there good spark at that cyl, to rule out a faulty ignition module or stator
Fire the engine for a moment then shutdown and pull that plug again, feel it and smell it, is it getting fuel, or do you have to pull the intake box and test the injector.
Check compression, is something terribly wrong in that hole.
One of these three will give you a direction to proceed.
