Default spark plug/coil voltage for 9.9 evinrude (80's)

I have a troublesome 9.9 kicker that I am borrowing from a friend for my duck boat this season. I was wondering the approximate voltage that should be measured from a plug wire on one of these motors. The CDI pack appears to be in new condition. The coils are a little rusty, so I will probably need to clean all the connections. Also wondering if anyone has fuel pump diagram/pictures of properly assembled fuel pump, as there seems to have been some shady mechanic work done on this one. Was told it was tuned up, the "mechanic said it ran great", and hasn't been used in a year. Which typically means a few busy weekends and the kinks are worked out. So I've pulled the carb and flushed the milky carp from it and the cylinder which appears to be in operable condition (I've worked on bikes, but never had to get this in depth, probably because they don't live out on the water). I have read all the FAQ's (good stuff) and couldn't find this info. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
Osco
