I would like information on winterizing a 4 stroke Evinrude 50 hp outboard
(2000 model). This is the first 4 stroke which I have owned. I do all of my own work; I do not have a manual with this motor and cannot find a manual on the internet to match it up !! Does anybody have one for sale?

I need to know (with diagrams preferably) how to get at the carburetors
( are there carburetors? I thought that F.I. engines did not have them). I see only one spark plug on gross observation - are there more? Of course I need to find these in order to fog everything - crankshaft; bearing surfaces and exhaust area.

Any replies would be much appreciated.

Welcome to iboats. You do need a manual, it will pay for itself many times over. Look in the FAQ for a "Winterizing" thread, it should help you out.
