someone told me my hub was spun what does that mean what does the motor do when the hub is spun is it expensive to fix?

It means the hub inside the prop is spinning (not catching, kinda like a clutch slipping in a car) which makes the motor rev high. Think if you where to have a car floored, going down the road, and all of a sudden the clutch slips. The motor is going to rev very high, and your not going to go anywhere. Same thing on an outboard.

Many prop shops can press a new hub in there for cheaper than a new prop. Or, you can buy a new prop. :D

Either way, its not too expensive.
