Adding a trim guage to a 1985 Mercury 75HP engine

I have a bass boat that was originally equipped with power trim and the console only has a tach and a speedometer. I'm wanting to add a trim guage, but I don't know what is needed to do this. How hard is it to install the guage and the sending unit?
