Default Mariner 9.9 Carb

I have a 1996 9.9 4 stroke ( 0H005418) with Bodensee carb. I am rebuilding and wonder if anyone has the float setting available. The only other setting I see on the carb looks like an idle air setting on the top of the carb. Any input or insight that I should know about this rebuild would be appreciated

James

With the carb inverted it should measure 1" from the float bowl mounting surface to the bottom of the float + or - .04 - Idle screw is 3 turns + or - 1 turn

Thanks for info. I will set the float to that height. One of the odd things I am running into as I inspect the carb is the on the float needle - -It seems to be sticking. Not until I put some light air pressure will it release. Have you had any experience with sticking float needles? I am wondering if should clean the passageway with a little emory cloth?

Don't clean it with emory paper, you could spray the needle and seat with carb cleaner and if that don't fix it replace it
